Adrian's Experience
I am a senior electrical engineering student at Virginia Tech, focused on applied electromagnetics with a secondary focus in IC design. I have been doing hands-on hardware design since high school, when I was the electrical lead of my FRC robotics team. At Virginia Tech I led the electrical team for Astrobotics, where I ran the electrical design of a rover that competes in the NASA Lunabotics competition and the University Rover Challenge.
Over the summer I was an electrical engineering intern at Ingersoll Rand in their compressor division. I spent time in the lab designing the test bench and HIL setups used to validate their new compressor controllers, and I designed their compact analog simulator board.
Now I am leading my senior design team, designing a custom IMU board to support Psionic's Doppler lidar system. I am also on Solarcar, a new design team at Virginia Tech, where I am designing the data acquisition PCB.
